Britax B-Agile Double Stroller

Britax hit it out of the park when they introduced their new Britax B-Agile Double Stroller. Right at the start it received top double stroller reviews from parents who chose this stroller. For those that do not like to feel like they are pushing a bus around, the side-by-side type double strollers are the right choice. The bad part with these side-by-side strollers is that they are normally very wide and difficult to get through doors. The width of the Britax B-Agile Double Stroller is only 30 1/2 inches wide, allowing it to fit easily through most doors.

Britax also receives high praise in double stroller reviews concerning the storage basket underneath the seats. The basket is large and you are able to retrieve items from the back or through the front foot rests. No need to wake the sleeping child with their seat reclined all the way, simply access the storage basket from the front of the stroller. Each seat back also has a zipper pocket that allows a parent to store more personal items, like a wallet, cell-phone, bottle, sippy cup, or whatever you might need frequently.

Features of the Britax B-Agile Double Stroller

  • Weight rating of 50 pounds per seat
  • All wheel suspension for comfort
  • Vented large canopies to protect your kids from the sun
  • Padded seats with head pad, and no re-thread adjustable 5-point harness
  • Useable from birth because of the BRITAX click and go system,
  • Light weight frame with quick fold capabilities

With this list of features, it is no surprise that the Britax B-Agile Double Stroller receives consistent positive double stroller reviews. With a toddler and a baby on the way, this double stroller will make life easier while out. A Britax infant car seat simply snaps in to the stroller, and the toddler still has a place to sit. There is no need to worry about where the little one ran off to.

Britax also has gone the extra steps to insure the comfort of the children as they ride along. The padded seats, padded head rest and all-wheel suspension provide a nice comfortable ride. Parents did not get forgotten about either. The Britax B-Agile Double Stroller is built from a light weight, but strong frame with a quick fold system and lots of storage. All the double stroller reviews agree that the adjustable handle is very nice. The adjustable handle means more comfort for pushing the stroller for different height parents.

Britax USA B-Ready Stroller review

December 13, 2016 by Jo

The Britax B-Ready is a really nice luxury stroller that has gained a lot of popularity just because it has a reversible seat and it is able to turn into a double inline stroller that comes with an additional second seat. You are able to also turn it into a travel system by getting the car seat adapter or you can use the frame by replacing the seat with a bassinet or car seat. There are over 14 different seat combinations that you can use. This is the stroller that will grow with your family and is perfect if you have one or two children.

The B-Ready is perfect for flat surfaces. You are able to take it to the park, go to the mall, or run errands, but if you try to tackle grass, gravel, or mulch it will get pretty bumpy. It isn’t an all-terrain stroller. The way that it maneuvers is great even when you have both seats loaded.

Additional features

There are plenty of features such as the large canopy, accessible basket, adjustable foot rest and handle bar. It has foam filled rubber wheels that will never go flat and all wheel suspension that allow your child to ride with a pretty smooth ride. B-Ready is quite stable and it doesn’t tip over even with a heavy child trying to climb into the second smaller seat. It works well as a double stroller, but if you plan to use it just as a single, it isn’t the best choice. It weighs around 36 pounds in double mode and in single mode it is around 27 pounds.

Is it spacious?

It has a real roomy seat that is over a foot wide and about 2 feet tall from the back of the seat to the canopy. It has a one hand recline that can be used by using the lever in the back of the seat. You can’t recline just the back of the seat because it just one molded piece, so whenever you recline it the whole seat will recline. The seat doesn’t go completely flat so it has been recommended for babies from 6 months to 55 pounds. If you want to use it from birth and up, you will need to make it a travel system or use a bassinet.

Britax B-Ready Safety

It does come with a 5-point harness that is completely adjustable that has a center release buckle. The child will be completely protected from the buckle with a belly pad that is attached to the seat. The buckle is hard to unlock, but it does keep your 3-year-old from escaping. The seat does have a nice head pad and can be adjusted.

The Britax B-Ready verdict

I love this stroller because it’s almost perfect. The Britax B-Ready is great for those who have two children or are planning on a new addition. The only thing that could be changed is the handlebar. It is a bit heavy, but with the second seat it is to be expected. I love the price range and there are plenty of colors to choose from.

It’s really stylish and is a much cheaper option than the Stokke Xplory or the Bugaboo Cameleon 3.
