Britax USA B-Ready Stroller review

December 13, 2016 by Jo

The Britax B-Ready is a really nice luxury stroller that has gained a lot of popularity just because it has a reversible seat and it is able to turn into a double inline stroller that comes with an additional second seat. You are able to also turn it into a travel system by getting the car seat adapter or you can use the frame by replacing the seat with a bassinet or car seat. There are over 14 different seat combinations that you can use. This is the stroller that will grow with your family and is perfect if you have one or two children.

The B-Ready is perfect for flat surfaces. You are able to take it to the park, go to the mall, or run errands, but if you try to tackle grass, gravel, or mulch it will get pretty bumpy. It isn’t an all-terrain stroller. The way that it maneuvers is great even when you have both seats loaded.

Additional features

There are plenty of features such as the large canopy, accessible basket, adjustable foot rest and handle bar. It has foam filled rubber wheels that will never go flat and all wheel suspension that allow your child to ride with a pretty smooth ride. B-Ready is quite stable and it doesn’t tip over even with a heavy child trying to climb into the second smaller seat. It works well as a double stroller, but if you plan to use it just as a single, it isn’t the best choice. It weighs around 36 pounds in double mode and in single mode it is around 27 pounds.

Is it spacious?

It has a real roomy seat that is over a foot wide and about 2 feet tall from the back of the seat to the canopy. It has a one hand recline that can be used by using the lever in the back of the seat. You can’t recline just the back of the seat because it just one molded piece, so whenever you recline it the whole seat will recline. The seat doesn’t go completely flat so it has been recommended for babies from 6 months to 55 pounds. If you want to use it from birth and up, you will need to make it a travel system or use a bassinet.

Britax B-Ready Safety

It does come with a 5-point harness that is completely adjustable that has a center release buckle. The child will be completely protected from the buckle with a belly pad that is attached to the seat. The buckle is hard to unlock, but it does keep your 3-year-old from escaping. The seat does have a nice head pad and can be adjusted.

The Britax B-Ready verdict

I love this stroller because it’s almost perfect. The Britax B-Ready is great for those who have two children or are planning on a new addition. The only thing that could be changed is the handlebar. It is a bit heavy, but with the second seat it is to be expected. I love the price range and there are plenty of colors to choose from.

It’s really stylish and is a much cheaper option than the Stokke Xplory or the Bugaboo Cameleon 3.
